I've always considered my iPhone wallpaper background carefully — I just want something simple, that doesn't contrast against the many icons or widgets that might be visible.
It turns out that finding these wallpapers can be a bit tricky if you don't know where to look.
Here are 28 minimalist iPhone wallpapers that I recently discovered that all have a slightly neural color theme—think soft, earthy colors. I've sized these all to the most popular iPhone screen size (currently an iPhone 13), but they will work on any device (including Android) since they are all high resolution.
How to save wallpapers to your phone
The easiest way to save any of the images below is to just tap on hold on the image that you would like to save, then select "Save image" on the menu that pops up. Once saved, you can easily find it as the last photo inside of your camera roll.
How to set iPhone wallpaper
Once you have the image saved, go into your iPhone settings, tap on "General" then swipe down until you see the "Wallpaper" section.
From there, you'll be able to set both the lock screen wallpaper, as well as the standard background. I tend to set both of these images to the same thing so it's not jarring when you unlock your phone.
