Apsis Lamp — Merging Function and Form

Apsis is a lamp that seeks to merge form and function through its rotational symmetry. It is based on the fundamental quality of a circle - rotational symmetry. The lamp features a laminated wood body that revolves freely around a stone tray base, allowing for easy adjustment without the need for complicated mechanisms.

Items placed within the stone tray are orbited and illuminated by the touch dimmable lamp head, which pivots through a range of 270 degrees. The cable and LED are hidden within the body and head, creating a clean and uninterrupted aesthetic. This emphasizes the lamp’s simple geometry and expert craftsmanship.

The Apsis lamp is a unique and functional piece that adds a touch of sophistication to any space. Its rotational symmetry and adjustable design make it a versatile and practical addition to any home.
