View InstagramThe Aiuola (flower bed in Italian) cachepot from @levantindesign is a minimal design to help introduce more greens in common spaces. "The specific feature of Aiuola is the smooth curves of its body. To create it, the maximum radius of the forming machine bridge is used. As a result, two U-shaped sheets of steel with air perforation holes on their sides put together with elegant joints are created. The bottom of the body is carved with a laser and has additional hardness which avoids sagging. The strong tube base is all-welded for reliable settlement and movement." #decor #flowerpot #plantpot #minimalinterior #mg-aiuola-pot — Follow @minimalgoods_ for daily design inspiration.

View InstagramThe bLen pen from @nendo_official for Zebra. Firstly, in order to stabilize the position of the pen, a lower center of gravity was established by placing a brass weight at the tip of the pen. This weight allows for a smooth and gentle touch on the paper, while significantly reducing unexpected movements of pen due to the centripetal force created while writing. Photographed by @ak_yoshida

View Instagram@clikclax is a colourful, fun design-based answer to the deeply unimaginative sneeze-guards that have become ubiquitous since the arrival of Covid-19. Not only has Clikclax been designed to enhance the look of a space, it’s also super fun to put together and infinitely customizable, with a life of its own — much like the game that inspired it. Clikclax isn’t just for offices, it’s for any communal space; anywhere people want to come together but need to keep safely apart. It’s fun and functional and flexible.

View InstagramThe Poet desk from @nordictales. The table is an ode to classical Scandinavian handcrafted furniture in which quality in materials and detail is highly prioritized.
View InstagramThe Piano desk from @joaoteixeira_designstudio was inspired by the way Pinao players hold their sheet music. "Inspired by the Standard chair by Jean Prouvé, the main idea behind this was to have an hybrid material selection, in the case: wood and sheet metal. I also wanted to design something more democratic so the approach on design language was to keep things pretty basic yet functional and convenient. The metal stand is perfect to hold your books and it’s a fair substitute for the drawer in some cases."
View InstagramWhat do you think of all these thoughtful details on the Bars desk from @joaoteixeira_designstudio? "It’s been a while since I’ve had the time to focus on personal projects but finally was able to manage. The project has started by exploring some interesting ways of jointing wood elements and ended up by becoming a desk. I particularly like to design desks in oppose to other furniture projects as I believe they can be used in many ways for productive purposes. The main idea here was to take the joint concept I came up with and take it further by adding interesting ways to organize setup layouts. Hence the name Bars, which are the crossed elements that allows users to explore it according to their needs. All in all, this is a very simple design approach, but I’m super happy by the way its function works great with its aesthetic, in particular the rounded shapes and overlapped intersections."
